Well, I'll start off by saying that I was less impressed with the clientel that showed up, more then the Staff. I mean, who brings screaming kids to Meeting? And that one freaking guy, drunk off his ass, who went out, 10 minutes after the start and brought back a 12 pack!!
I'll comment on each of the pictures below, trying to recall what I was thinking at the time. I am no Photo Journalist, nor reporter. It was rather dark, so these pictures are not justice.

Part of the display's they had at the back of the room, where we entered.

A nice 'mini' floor harp. Of course, every kid below waste high had to pluck the darn thing. As kids are oft want to do, but not one parent that I heard told them to stop!

A sword on display. Couldn't get near it, about got run over trying to just take a picture.

The imfamous RED ROBES! As you can see, pretty empty heheheh

And of course, why fill the robe with a body, when they can just hang a sign on it right? If you can't read the sign, it says: "I cannot help thee with that".
At least someone at OSI a sense of humor.

More of the display tables.

Our Greeting slide for the most part.

The opening screen during introductions.

As you can see, they hit things off with the Elves. Many cheered at this, and a lot of groans. The collection of "ears" was mentioned, but not for PvP, only NPC Quests.

Part of the new craftables, besides the "given" new clothing, jewlery was also mentioned. Notes were taken by staff to perhaps include crafting magical earrings.

I'll comment here, as it was asked later; You can start a new character, or convert an exsisting one to an Elf. To do this, you would have to do some Quests and do them well, to get to be an Elf. If you decided later, you would reclaim your humanity by of course doing some more quests.

The new monsters, are said to be HARDER then anything yet put into the game.

As mentioned, and as you can see here, new dungeons.
The treasures and "rares" are not yet known if they will be blessable and or insurable. Talisman were mentioned, which there is a new slot on the paperdoll for.
The Peerless Monsters, are like area bosses. Say in like a "harpy" area, you have all those harpies, and then one 'hued' one with a name, that would be the BOSS of the area. Sorta like a Mini-Champ I'm guessing.

Here you see a little about the new "group" spells. Basically a group of skilled folks go to this place, do the wiggly finger things, and then they are all embued with this boost of power. Duration and details where not provided.
You can see the new spells listed.

Showing the Quests. Hundreds it seems. Just about every NPC they passed barked something about undertaking a quest. The rewards are different for each they said, and of course the rewards vary depending on the difficulty. You will even find NPCs in the wild offering quests.

This is about SHARD aka Community. Not individual places or towns. People work together to populate these.

This one brought huge cheers!! Something I don't understand. Talk about more lag was all I saw. 20% more storage on all houses.

Next is some Demo screens. Not sure what type of connection the Center gave them, but noticed some lag. They did mention, they had not load-balanced out the areas yet.

The Elf's tree city

Here Binky (whos driving) is just wandering around, opening up paperdolls on NPCs.

This was the place the group has to go, to get the group spell thing going.

This was one of the new dungeons. Some of the areas, which look blocked are passable, like mounds of trash and junk. Said to be the "monsters" making their barriers.

This is the new EVIL unicorn. And it was said, while the "good" unicorns heal posion, this one, does worse. Its not tamable to the cries of all the tamers there. Just a mini boss.

Inside a house, to show off two new "fluffy" things.
-The talking parrot, which you feed and its barks stuff or makes a noise.
-The fish tank. Seems a lot like the Plant system. Fishers will use special nets to get the fish. Drop in take. Take care of em, get new fish ect, and maybe I heard a "reward" or something.

Question and Answer for the EXPANSION was next. Of course, many of the folks didn't adhere to that, and asked general questions. The team did a good job answering things as best they could.

There was a break, hell broke loose, people stormed the staff.

Then back to more General Purpose Questions. Of course this became semi-hectic, as some felt the need to blurt out from the crowd comments about individuals questions. Throw in the damn drunk prick, and the screaming/crying kids/babies, it became too much for me.

I left before they did their drawing, and handed out the poster.

Overall, I went for a "pulse" of the game, and got one. It seems that they are dedicated to the game, for at least two more years at least. It was good to see them giving up on the 3D client, and devoting to the 2D.
